As part of Algo’s growth and expansion plan and with the intention of enhancing the Algo brand, an investment into high quality PPE has been made. Over the past few months the site teams have been trialling different brands and quality PPE to ensure that we get it right. Most recently, the brand Sioen, who were providers of the PPE on the construction of the Queensferry Crossing, came out top and it was decided by senior management that this brand would be rolled out to all staff on site. A new ordering portal, supplied by Scott Direct, has been put in place to streamline the ordering process.
Algo appreciate that the site teams are working outdoors in all weather conditions and we want our staff to be as warm and comfortable as possible. We see this large financial investment in PPE as an investment in our staff , leading to staff retention and loyalty, the ethos that cascades through Algo from boardroom level.
