Algo were appointed as main contractor by The Borders Distillery to gain Statutory consents of Planning Approval and Building Warrant Approval ahead of the construction of the 6 No. bonded warehouse at their site in Hawick providing just over a total of 4,800m2 of much required cask storage space.
Within one warehouse a forklift charging area and also a disabled toilet constructed.
Fire wall elevations were constructed on relevant elevations to meet the Scottish Building Standards.
Water and power services were applied for and brought into the site on behalf of the client with all site drainage connected into the exiting drainage network on site.
Perimeter security fencing was erected along with automatic security gates with keypad entrance.
