We were delighted to be appointed by John Deere Forestry Ltd to construct their new office and workshop development which would become their new headquarter based located at Arran Road, Perth.
The building is a steel frame, clad with architectural wall panel on the office and trapezoidal profiled wall panel on the workshop.

The construction of an additional Customer Service Facility in Perth, Scotland was highlighted as an essential component of our future growth and I am delighted that Algo were chosen as our primary contractor for the project. Our main contacts during the project were Craig Wilkinson & Bradley Lowe and from the initial contact to the completion both gents proved themselves to be extremely competent, knowledgeable, honest & thoroughly reliable.
This was not a short project and our interactions with Algo started around four years ago when the project was in its infancy. From initial discussions around possible building layouts and budget projections the guys at Algo were also able to use local knowledge put us in contact with local land owners and council officials with the end results in us securing a plot of land at Arran Road in Perth. From the early discussions both Craig & Brad very quickly gained an understanding of our business needs and were able to align them to knowledge of building regulations and protocols to provide a number of bespoke designs for us – it may be fair to say that we also set the bar rather high!
From initial groundbreaking and site works through to final finish and landscaping, the turnkey solution proved to be hugely advantageous as quite simply Algo were left to deliver the project with minimal input and site presence from ourselves at John Deere though from mid -term to completion monthly Progress Meetings gave us a great insight into ongoing progress and enabled efficient onsite decision making. Throughout the project I was encouraged by the standard of workmanship and quality delivered by the various onsite tradesmen and furthermore the level of staff engagement and alignment was a credit to the onsite supervisors, Eric Little & Jim Latto.
I must say that there were no contentious issues throughout the project and any discussions were carried out in a candid and transparent manner with a focus on delivering our common goal. The end result is a high quality building of which our staff and myself are extremely proud. I simply could not be more positive around my experiences with Algo and the biggest compliment I can give is that they shared our own core values of Honesty, Integrity, Commitment & Innovation.
