In October 2023 after a competitive tender process, Algo was appointed as the Main Contractor for the multi-million pound refurbishment of an existing building to establish a new Ford Dealership at Baird Avenue, Dundee.
Working closely with our client, Dalkeith Retail Centre Limited and their appointed design team, Algo successfully delivered the project alongside:

Structural Engineer: Will Rudd Davidson
M&E Services Engineer: KDQ
The project involved the comprehensive transformation of the facility, starting with the recladding of the external façade to modernise and enhance the building’s appearance. A state of the art curtain walling system was installed, ensuring both durability and aesthetic appeal.
The internal refurbishment included a full fit-out, converting the space into a premium showroom and workshop area, with additional ancillary accommodation to support the dealerships operations.
Externally, a new lean-to valet bay was constructed, and a large forecourt with a raised display area was formed to enhance the external aesthetics.
The entire project was completed and handed over in early August 2024.
