Algo, based in central Scotland, we have designed and built for many educational institutions including traditional classrooms, multi-tiered buildings and large, open sports halls and astroturfs. The key requirement is ease of movement for children and durability of contact fabric.  The finish in these buildings is of utmost importance. It should be a stimulating environment that meets the needs of all using facilities in the building. The intended use of rooms is carefully considered at drawing stage, to for example, designing for maximisation of natural light into all rooms and soundproofing for music rooms.

Sports facilities range from outdoor astroturf to indoor gymnasiums with sports halls.  Budget restrictions will often dictate that these facilities should be multi-purpose and fit for use over a wide range of activities.  Add to this, hugely varying volumes of users and audiences and an experienced design and build company becomes a must.

We have built for Dollar Academy, Butterstone School, The Scout Movement and Craigclowan Preparatory School.
