We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our Head Office team based in Perth. This role requires a time-served construction professional with a thorough understanding of all project phases, and particular strengths in client engagement, commercial acumen and contractual management
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of construction projects from pre-construction through to completion, in the Commercial and Industrial sectors
- Act as the primary client interface, managing relationships professionally and confidently throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead and manage the design development from Tender through to Construction Drawings and final as-built information for the O&M manual
- Lead and manage contractual discussions and negotiations pre-contract, during delivery, and at final account stage
- Prepare and regularly update the construction programme
- Maintain strong commercial control of projects, including variations, valuations, sub-contractor management, cost awareness, and programme delivery
- Identify and manage project risks, ensuring proactive resolution of issues
- Provide clear, concise reporting and feedback to Senior Directors and Management Teams
- Represent the business externally in a professional and credible manner
- Support and mentor project teams, fostering a positive and accountable working environment
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a Senior Project Manager role within Construction or Engineering.
- Strong commercial awareness with a track record of successfully managing project finances and contractual risk
- Working knowledge of SBCC and NEC Contracts
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Project software
- Demonstrable experience leading contractual discussions and negotiations with clients and stakeholders
- Confident, articulate and comfortable working at senior level both internally and externally
- Strong leadership capability
- Ability to balance commercial focus with collaborative working practices

Desirable
